Created by Olivier Cresp and Yves de Chiris at Quest International, this is the fragrance that invented the modern gourmand: an amber vanilla built on an unprecedented overdose of patchouli against caramel, praline and chocolate.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThis compound reproduces the original composition as it was launched, before successive reformulations thinned the patchouli and flattened the sweetness. The base is dense and earthy, wrapped in vanilla, tonka bean, caramel and chocolate, with the maltol lift that made the original so instantly recognisable. The top notes of bergamot, mandarin, cassis and cotton candy open with an almost edible sugar rush, while a heart of honey, red berries, blackberry, plum, peach and apricot sits over jasmine, rose and lily-of-the-valley. The result is a monumental, unapologetically divisive fragrance with enormous projection and legendary longevity – exactly as it smelled in 1992.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\"\u003eThis compound is IFRA compliant and ready to dilute and bottle.
