    Jasmin Imperial is a French jasmine grandiflorum absolute replacer. In the words of M. De Laire, "Jasmin of Grasse is perfect" and if we may be so bold as to add, nothing but the flower itself can surpass the beauty of our Jasmin Imperial base.

    Richly complex and constructed on the basis of the chemical composition of a particularly fine historic crop of genuine French jasmine absolute, Jasmin Imperial allows perfumers to return to the golden days of overdosing floral absolutes as it can be used at up to 2.5% of your finished product for IFRA 51.

    This complex and true to life base is enriched with luscious and expensive natural absolutes and oils.

    Warning: This is a raw material for the manufacture of perfumes. Do not consume. Do not apply directly to skin. Keep out of reach of children.

    General Information

    Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.

    All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.

    IFRA 49: 24.3%

    Amazingly realistic

    This smells incredibly close to my Jasmine sambac absolute, yet is somehow easier to use, allowing for a powerful jasmine without the off notes I get from the natural material.

    As beautiful as this is, I wanted a lighter and less indolic jasmine, so will try another of the jasmine bases.

    If you want a cheaper and safer alternative to real jasmine sambac, this is it!

    Thanks for your review Andy! If you are seeking a lighter jasmine may I recommend Jasmin Fleurs which is very popular and a softer creamier jasmine - certainly less indolic. If I may be sol bold as to quote a review someone left on another site: '[Jasmin Fleurs] smells just like rich, lively, natural jasmine scent without the drama and depth of the absolute / Jasmin Imperial'. It is a best seller.
