    Fraterworks Sandexol® is a powerful and radiant sandalwood base which can be used standalone as a one for one replacement for natural sandalwood oil. Sandexol is also perfect for extending sandalwood notes in a fragrance or adding a nuance to a multi-wood fond. 

    Sandexol® is constructed around natural absolutes and oils in addition to the very latest radiant sandalwood molecules. This is an essential tool for all perfumers, adding beauty and exaltation to your creations. Sandexol® is perfect for creating a luxurious woody foundation for modern gourmand fragrances.

    Warning: This is a raw material for the manufacture of perfumes. Do not consume. Do not apply directly to skin. Keep out of reach of children.

    General Information

    Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.

    All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.

    Gives real sandalwood some stretch..

    This works great for helping me stretch my mysore..I can make 25 ml of Mysore into 35ml..and you can't tell anything was added..excellent and a great money saver..great to add with Dreamwood.

    Very beautiful, complex sandalwood. Boosts real sandalwood beautifully and seems to work well in both microdoses and larger doses. Looking forward to playing with this more as part of larger wood and floral accords!

    A radient boost

    As a standalone direct sandalwood replacement, or as part of a woody scaffolding, this offers a remarkable energy that elevate all other base notes in the composition. I find it shines the most in trace amounts and I can't wait to play with it in several compositions.

    Strikingly modern

    I find the santalum molecules tricky to dose correctly, but this base is much more forgiving. To my nose it has a rigid strength and gives me a 'modern' sandalwood feel without the sharp metal edges I get with most santalum bases/molecules. Very strong and long lasting, but also delightfully free of the meaty or sour-savoury notes that can come with tenacity. Brilliantly blended with my natural santalum oils to boost and structure.
