    While Cuir de Russie is wild, smoky and floral, Royal Leather is sophisticated, prim and proper. Royal Leather is the scent of gracefully aged bridle leather, nubuck shoes and peccary gloves. It is the scent of heritage, wealth and class.

    In traces Royal Leather adds a soft purr to your scent, while an overdose makes a bold statement. Enriched with the finest animalics, resins and sandalwood, this is a must-have modern base that is extraoardinarily easy to use at up to 49% of your perfume formula! So good you can just dilute and go.

    Royal Leather blends beautifully with Ambre Royale and Sandexol®.

    General Information

    Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.

    All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.

    Wonderful Powerful Leather

    I am still on the hunt for my perfect leather accord, but this is a standout. Based on the description, I expected a very clean leather that could be central to a summer fragrance. While fantastic, Royal Leather is not what I expected. It exudes warm spice and tobacco thickness. It alludes to cool weather. I'm still on the hunt for that modern clean, cold, papery, airy, slightly waxy leather. One like a new couch in a furniture store.

    Almost a fragrance its own. Not for the hottest weather, very good for masculine fragrances.

    This is -- without question -- the finest, most refined leather I've had the pleasure of smelling. I'm thrilled that I have the chance to work with such a fine component. It is the elevated, *perfect* leather I've been searching for, for years.

      Some of our products may contain small amounts of EU and IFRA compliant musk ketone. We never use musk xylene, musk ambrette or any other prohibited materials.
