The most intense and longest lasting green chemical in the perfumer's arsenal, Corps Racine has a powerful note of crisp freshly shelled peas, green peppers and the bitter green of snapped twigs. Due to its unbelievable power, we are offering this at 1% diluted in dipropylene glycol (DPG). Note, however, that even at 1% this is incredibly strong and we recommend further dilution to at least 0.1% in the carrier of your choice.
Corps Racine blends beautifully with Verdantol™ and all of our luxurious muguet bases.

General Information
Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.

"Corps Racine, a pyridine of green odor, has a strength and persistence so extraordinary as to make it something completely new. It gives the impression of an alkoxypyrazine, when you smell it for the first time, but it isn’t as volatile as these, and has a persistence of months, greater, for example, than of alpha-santalol. Just like citronitrile, it serves to prolong the effects of voltatile products, without diminishing them at all. This compound is one that should form part of the basic repertory of the pefimer. It combines very well with undecatriene, allyl-amyl-glycolate, Cyclogalbanate, and green-grass."
