This speciality CO2 extraction from V. MANE Fils is a true revelation. It encapsulates the purest aspects of an entire cask of rum from the most volatile alcoholic top notes to the nuanced drydown of scorched sugar. This is a must have natural ingredient for a Piña Colada type base (see our free demonstration formula below) or any scent needing a novel liquor character.
“Rum is an alcoholic beverage obtained from sugarcanes and developed in the 17th century on the Caribbean plantations. The distillate is usually aged in barrels and coloured with burnt sugar. Rum became so popular that it was an accepted currency in Europe in the 18th century and George Washington ordered 700 litres of the finest Barbados rum for his pre-election celebration.” — V. As evidenced by our Golden Seraglio formula (also below), this blends extremely well with MANE's other incredible product: Coffee Arabica Pure Jungle Essence and the magnificent Davana Essential oil from LMR.
This material is extremely strong so we also offer it diluted to 10% in natural Triethyl Citrate.

General Information
Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
