The seeds of this hibiscus-like flowering plant contain one of the treasures of the perfumery world: ambrettolide — one of the few natural non-animal musks. With a delicate raspberry nuance, this rich oil adds softness, muskiness, and radiance to every blend. A trace can completely remove the chemical sharpness from alcohol making it a wonderful alternative to Ambergris.
Our Ambrette Seed Oil is manufactured in France by LMR, one of the finest makers and suppliers of precious essential oils and absolutes.
There is no denying that you'll need a swooning couch when you see the price tag on this beauty! Therefore, we also offer it at 10% dilution in natural Triethyl Citrate, keeping it ISO 9235 compliant and making it more cost effective.

Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
