    Ambrocenide is a woody amber chemical with a radiance almost impossible to believe. It can be used in the merest traces to add elegance and power but it also works surprisingly well in overdose (as evidenced by the Amrita demonstration formula below - Millennium Mysore Sandal Soap).

    According to Arcadi Boix Camps: “Ambrocenide is the best discovery in the amber-woody family […] since Ambrox was commercialised. The top note of Ambrocenide is radiant, diffusive, elegant, ambery, woody—indeed both precious, and unique.”

    Blends with Absolute Ambergris, Sandexol, Miraclewood, Iso E Super, Norlimbanol Dextro, Z11 MIP, Cetonal, the ionones and, in truth, almost everything.

    General Information

    Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.

    All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.

    My first time working with a superamber and it hasnt let me down. Super strong and appears drier and sharper than operanide for example.

    Seems tricky at first..

    My first experience with this chemical was to foolishly crack open the bottle and sniff it straight: terrible move - the stuff is SO concentrated it smelled about as appealing as cloudy ammonia and I literally had to change my clothes to get the smell off me.

    Then I diluted to ~1% but found assessing the pure dilution not much better.

    Finally, adding to a base mix of Absolute Ambergris (mere drops in 250mL I'll add), I saw it's benefit: it's not meant to be used alone and once merged with other scents it *boosts* both the projection and longevity of that mix while being almost undetectable.

    I will have to order more of these obnoxiously potent chemicals because the value of Ambrocenide will shock you once used as intended.

    Like paint extenders, it's little use alone but brilliant for enhancing existing mixes.

      All of our products are compliant with EU 1223/2009 and the NZCPGS. None of our bases contain prohibited materials and regulatory compliance is possible depending on usage.
