    Due to high demand we are now selling a complete compound of our private label formula for Aventus, a popular Creed men's fragrance launched in 2010.

    Because of the recent European ban on some raw materials we stock two versions of Compound Black®. The original version is the unaltered original fragrance and the (EC) No 1223/2009 version is as close as we can get while complying with EU requirements. Both compounds are IFRA compliant because the original Aventus was.

    If you prefer a smokier version of this fragrance add a trace of our Birch Tar Rectified (dilute it to 1% first). And to boost the fruit, try a little of our highly popular Pineapple Supreme.

    General Information

    Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.

    All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.

    IFRA 49: 20%

    What is this?

    Compound Black® Private Label differs from our published demonstration formula, and while the demo formulas are excellent tools for learning, some items are intentionally omitted. Not so with Compound Black® — our Private Label edition contains all the ingredients of the original fragrance with absolutely no modifications. This would be considered, by some, to be the closest equivalent of the raw juice for the esteemed Batch 11Z01 2021.

    Head Notes: Lemon, Pink Pepper, Apple, Italian Bergamot, Blackcurrant
    Heart Notes: Pineapple, Jasmine, Indonesian Patchouli
    Base Notes: Birch, Ambroxan, Cedarwood, Oakmoss, Musk

    Compound Black® lets you discover first hand how a megastar fragrance smells and performs in a pre-diluted state. This makes for an extremely valuable learning tool. Compound Black can also be used as a building block for your own unique fragrance.

    Compound Black Fenix?

    Just as the mythical Fenix ​​rose from the ashes, the same thing happened here with Aventus. It is always said that an original fragrance can only be put together correctly by its true creator. Here I have to state that two masters can give new life to this Fenix. He is, of course, Jean Christophe Hérault, and he is joined by Jamie Frater!
    It's so good, in fact, that if you close your eyes and use just your nose, you'll be taken back to when Aventus was at its full strength.
    My great admiration and endless gratitude goes out to Jamie for a job well done, not only for using quality ingredients and certainly taking a lot of time to make everything fit together beautifully, but also for allowing everyone to smell this fragrance again and setting at a friendly price!
    Remember, it's not enough to just have a GCMS analysis and get quality ingredients! You must have a big heart, love for the work and most importantly: A GIFT FROM GOD to mix it all correctly!
    From the bottom of my heart, I wish Jamie that he continues to succeed in maintaining all his values, that he receives a lot of inspiration and that he remains as fair a man in the future as he certainly is at this moment!
    I am honored to be able to do the first review of this Phoenix that has risen from the ashes. All the ingredients I have bought here are of such quality that there is no need to look elsewhere! I hope that in time we will be able to taste other works from the "privat label" section!

    • Regulations

      All of our products are compliant with EU 1223/2009 and the NZCPGS. None of our bases contain prohibited materials and regulatory compliance is possible depending on usage.

      Some of our products may contain small amounts of EU and IFRA compliant musk ketone. We never use musk xylene, musk ambrette or any other prohibited materials.
