    Due to high demand we are now selling a complete compound of the original (our private label) formula for Green Irish Tweed, a popular Creed men's fragrance launched in 1985.

    Because of the recent European ban on some raw materials this can not be combined with alcohol and sold as a finished perfume in Europe but it can be purchased for personal use and evaluation. If you would like to purchase a European safe version, we can supply that with a minimum order quantity of 1 kilogram.

    This is an incredible fragrance you will want to wear a lot so be sure to buy more than you think you need.

    This is the closest thing you will find on the market to the original formula with all the rich naturals intact. It is particularly expensive because it has a high amount of natural Mysore Sandalwood.

    General Information

    Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.

    All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.

    Not a expert...

    I'm in no way a expert perfumer, I can detect some scents within a fragrance but I'm no bloodhound. So this review is from the standpoint of a collector of fragrances. Tweed to me is a very nice, manly scent. I like to imagine the type of person a scent would fit. And with tweed I imagine a blue collar man, truck driver, dock worker, construction worker. I imagine this to be the person that walks by as I smell the slightly musky, earthy, woodsy aroma. It screams masculine, and also a fresh undertone. I give it a 4 only because I have not compared it to the original, and it's only fair to allow room for it to possibly rate up one more or even down. But to me it's better than compound black. Or maybe I just prefer the manly man smell over the business man smell of compound black.

    Exceptionally natural

    With an overload of stunning quality citruses, this classic sees a beautiful rebirth in this new form. It misses the subtly salty/halitosis note of the ambergris blend from the original, but is stunningly fresher for it. An incredibly accurate copy with the contrast turned up, the edges sharpened, the colors subtly saturated with only the most minor of mods in the drydown. Really beautiful.
