Fraterwork Honey Supreme is the ultimate honey base. It blends a heart of finest French beeswax absolute with radiant modern molecules.

Honey Supreme encapsulates the scent of a long-abandoned bee hive bursting with sweet honey that hints of the wild flowers and fields that nourished the golden bees that produced it.

Pure Honey Supreme is IFRA safe at doses up to 5% of a finished product, however we recommend working with a 10% dilution due to its incredible power. Honey supreme adds a truly modern note of luxury to fine fragrances and works as a one for one replacer of Firmenich's Honey Signature (Honey Provence Firabs).

Fraterworks also sells the classic non-discolouring De Laire Miel Blanc base restored in all its Belle Époque glory, and the vegan compatible Mielarome of Chiris featured in masterpieces like La Rose Jacqueminot by Coty.

IFRA 51: 5% in finished product (Cat. 4)
    Appearance: Golden liquid
Longevity: Lasts > 400 hours on a smelling strip

    General Information

Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.

All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.

    IFRA Standards

    Permitted amounts in finished product:

    IFRA 51: 5%
    IFRA 49: 4.8%

These are derived from calculated concentrations which do not replace chromatographic quantification on individual lots. Disclaimer...

    For Trade Use Only

Our products are intended as building blocks in the perfume creation process; they are not to be applied to the skin undiluted.

Powder and Animal in Golden Harmony

What begins in a radiant way reveals the presence of a delicate powdery nuance later and then, more than a few hours later, the welcome fuzzy nearness of an animal, and it's just enough; never too much. These are a few of my favorite things, this powder and this animal, and the base here positions them in perfect harmony. My client wanted something luminous, with "a little bit of musk and a lot of sweetness," and my brand is about the reclamation of our very human animal, so I reach for this in order to incorporate a discreetly animalic touch without entering an explicitly animalic territory, in a perfume composition which must be sweet and smiling, also. The honey concept is a tricky one, as honey from one harvest to another is never quite the same, I think, but I do believe I've found the best honey base on the market right here. What's more, Jamie was not only understanding of my desire to combine two orders before fulfilling them, but proactive about including a third order in the shipment before I even requested it! I couldn't be happier. Thank you, Jamie, and thanks, also, to everyone at Fraterworks! Looking forward, happy fuming!

    Not What I Expected

Cherry + Apple Jolly Rancher top to even base notes - with long-lasting very methyl phenylacetate-like honey notes (a little chocolatey and makes me think more of artificial honey more than real honey). It's nice and sweet, but in my opinion, it's about as sweet as it is tart, and a little too acidic sour to my nose - a lot like gummy bears. Maybe a little more than a hint of a cinnamic alcohol-like molecule. To my nose, it's really more honey candy than anything else. Maybe like cinnamon-flavored honey sticks for tea! It would be a good honey candy flavor (in my opinion), or maybe something good for a fresh and fruity cologne, but I don't really like it for what I was going to use it for. I was looking for a honey note with a sweetness that is very long lasting, yes, but that is more real-to-life; with a mysterious earthy depth and sweetness like that of real honey. Nothing I have tried has that natural ethyl-vanilla + caramel note that's in unprocessed raw honey (extremely noticeable when smelling from wide-mouth mason jar), and especially nothing that has that signature slightly hay-like and a little animalic - dusty precious woody oud note (like sourwood honey here in the state of GA in the US) that really good honey has. I have not tried Honey Signature, but if it is very similar to this, then I probably shouldn't buy it.
