In 2022 Clive Christian really hit its stride with this fragrance which I dare say may be the best in its lineup. Formulated by Vincent Ricord who should probably be more well-known than he is, it combines my personal favourite sandalwood accord of Sandalore®, Polysantol® and Javanol® with sweet natural woods and luxurious florals.
Clive Christian has a great reputation for quality and unlike some brands (Amouage and Tom Ford for example) the high price the brand commands really is often justified by the complexity and richesse of their scents.
Top Notes: Petitgrain, Rum, Rock Rose, Bitter Orange, Cardamom, Pink Pepper, Ginger, Bergamot and Grapefruit
Heart Notes: Dried Fruits, Tobacco, Sandalwood, Tuberose, Saffron, Osmanthus, Orris and Jasmine
Base Notes: Tonka Bean, Myrrh, Vanilla, Labdanum, Patchouli, Cedar, Musk and Vetiver
