Introduced in 2014, Jabir by Kemi Blending Magic—a prestigious line under the Xerjoff umbrella—emerges as a captivating highlight in the brand’s alchemical-inspired portfolio. Crafted by perfumer Chris Maurice, this oriental floral fragrance unfolds with a vibrant opening of freesia, violet, and strawberry, setting a lively yet refined tone. The heart reveals a lush bouquet of rose, peony, and lily-of-the-valley, evoking an enchanting floral elegance, before settling into a rich base of agarwood (oud), musk, vetiver, patchouli, and vanilla—blending woody depth with a sensual, lingering warmth.
Kemi Blending Magic, founded by Xerjoff’s Sergio Momo, channels the mystique of alchemy into its creations, and Jabir pays homage to Jabir ibn Hayyan, the legendary ‘father of alchemy.’ Xerjoff’s reputation for opulence shines through here, with a composition that balances intricate floral notes against an oriental-woody foundation, delivering a fragrance that’s both sophisticated and evocative.
