From Floral Concept comes the most spectacular Jasmine Sambac you will ever experience. With the richest and most beautifully indolic dry down, this oil is the very same one used by Olivier Polge in Chanel's Gabrielle (2017) — see our "smells-like" formula for this perfume below.

Jasmine Sambac has a much greener character than the Grandiflorum type (French, Indian and Egyptian) and immediately recalls the lovely scent of Chinese tea. Also, due to the chemical composition of extracts of Jasmine Sambac this product can be used at a much higher 3.8% of your finished fragrance, so really only price limits its high use.

Warning: This is a raw material for the manufacture of perfumes. Do not consume. Do not apply directly to skin. Keep out of reach of children.

    General Information

Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.

All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.

    IFRA Standards

    Permitted amounts in finished product:

    IFRA 51: 3.8%
    IFRA 49: 3.8%

These are derived from calculated concentrations which do not replace chromatographic quantification on individual lots. Disclaimer...

Pleasantly fresh and clear floral scent

Out of the numerous absolutes from Jasminum sambac that I’ve smelled over the decades, this one from Floral Concept stands out in a good way. In my experience, many Sambac absolutes struggle to capture the scent of fresh flowers. Instead, they often have a somewhat heavy and musty musk note, which combined with a honey-like sweetness, gives a somewhat distorted impression of the scent. Anyone who has smelled blooming Jasminum sambac will know what I mean, as the fresh flowers give off an amazingly clear and fresh scent. - The Jasmin sambac absolute from Floral Concept, in my observation, also has a comparatively fresh and clear scent with a rather low musk impact. It's clean, fresh-floral with clearly pronounced green and citrus-fruity accents. The scent of the fresh flowers is quite recognizable. For what it's worth, it's more convincing than Robertet's 'Sambac Heart' in my opinion.
