Jasmine Absolute, India

Over the decades, I’ve sniffed almost countless Jasmine Absolutes, because this floral scent has always had a special pull on me. The most fascinating thing, however, is the scent of freshly opened jasmine flowers on the living plant. Most Jasmine Absolutes can’t capture this special magic. But the jasmine from MANE pulls it off. A scent strip with a small amount of this absolute perfumes an entire room in no time with the unusually authentic scent of fresh jasmine flowers. From my observation, this absolute is noticeably more intense and diffusive than other jasmine absolutes. I’ve found that this is so strong that you should smell the scent strip only from some distance away, because if smelled too close, it overwhelms the nose and creates a rather unpleasant smell impression, which does not correspond to the actual airy-delicate character.

This Jasmine smells significantly different from the previous one. The fruity-floral core, which smells very intensely of fresh jasmine flowers from Jasminum grandiflorum (and to a slightly lesser extent also Jasminum polyanthum), reminds me a bit of Egyptian or Moroccan jasmine absolutes. However, this one is way more intense and diffusive in the olfactory start. I’m thrilled and enjoy the strongly relaxing scent - sparingly dosed - in the bedroom for falling asleep.

This is truly the most gorgeous jasmine I have experienced, it is so rich that even when diluted to 10% it is still strong and bold in my formulas. Really love this!
