    Jasmine grandiflorum absolute is a luxurious oil that has been the trademark of fine fragrances (particularly the French type) for more than 100 years. This Indian absolute from MANE is rich, long lasting, and powerful. It is unquestionably the best Indian jasmine on the market. It is, in fact, so opulent it presents with almost the same power as Tuberose absolute.

    Very small amounts are all that are needed to floralise a fragrance, but as history has shown us (see the demo formulas below), overdoses are also effective and incredibly beautiful. The only limit nowadays is the IFRA restriction of 0.6% of your finished product.

    With supreme beauty comes high cost and cognisant of that we also offer this incredible absolute diluted to 10% with natural (EU & US) Triethyl Citrate, an odourless diluent derived from citrus.

    If the cost of the natural oil is too prohibitive, we also sell the finest French jasmine grandiflorum replacer on the market: Jasmin Imperial.

    General Information

    Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.

    All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.

    Damm, what a beauty, one of the best jasmine I have tried. The pricing is also non exploitative.
    One drop is enough to feel it's potential. What a find.

    Stupendous jasmine

    This is one of a couple of really top shelf jasmine oils I've had the luck to experience with litte. This one seems very carefully selected, and the extraction is low in pigment and wax and is very mobile compared to many other absolutes. This one is unusually topnote oriented relative to the majority the grandiflorum oils i have encountered. The aroma is clean, balanced, restrained indole, ethereal, clean singing top notes. None of the off notes that come with some absolutes: no sour or overripe notes, no mothballs or heavy indole. Pristine jasmine that would make a great benchmark for anyone wanting a reference jasmine grand against which to judge others. I could not be happier with this.

    With just one single drop I was instantly transported into the lush Jasmine fields of India. This precious essence is the most intense, sensual, rich, warm, narcotic, and animalistic absolute I have had the pleasure of using.

    Reference material

    Over the decades, I’ve sniffed almost countless Jasmine Absolutes, because this floral scent has always had a special pull on me. The most fascinating thing, however, is the scent of freshly opened jasmine flowers on the living plant. Most Jasmine Absolutes can’t capture this special magic. But the jasmine from MANE pulls it off. A scent strip with a small amount of this absolute perfumes an entire room in no time with the unusually authentic scent of fresh jasmine flowers. From my observation, this absolute is noticeably more intense and diffusive than other jasmine absolutes. I’ve found that this is so strong that you should smell the scent strip only from some distance away, because if smelled too close, it overwhelms the nose and creates a rather unpleasant smell impression, which does not correspond to the actual airy-delicate character.

    This Jasmine smells significantly different from the previous one. The fruity-floral core, which smells very intensely of fresh jasmine flowers from Jasminum grandiflorum (and to a slightly lesser extent also Jasminum polyanthum), reminds me a bit of Egyptian or Moroccan jasmine absolutes. However, this one is way more intense and diffusive in the olfactory start. I’m thrilled and enjoy the strongly relaxing scent - sparingly dosed - in the bedroom for falling asleep.

    Most beautiful jasmine!

    This is truly the most gorgeous jasmine I have experienced, it is so rich that even when diluted to 10% it is still strong and bold in my formulas. Really love this!
