The most sublime part of patchouli oil is the patchouli alcohol (patchoulol). A typical high quality patchouli will have at least 30% with some natural oils going considerably higher, such as our Patchouli Light Aceh with a whopping 38%.
Our Patchouli Heart from Floral Concept, one of the finest suppliers of luxury niche naturals in France, is the result of molecular distillation in which some of the unappealing side-notes are removed from the oil giving a significant boost to the patchoulol — fully half in fact.
Patchouli Heart MD PA50 is the scent of spring rains falling on freshly furrowed earth. It is the scent of winding rivers through dank woodlands. This patchouli is nature at its best.

Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.

I’m a patchouli lover. I’ve got different kinds of patchouli oils like 50, 60, dark, clearwood etc. This MD PA50 is one of the best oils I’ve ever tried. I love this one!♥️
Like Patchouli Heart better than patchouli and mitti attar for a moist earthy, slightly musty scent. Fraterworks version is 'clean' and true without side notes, if that makes sense - just earthy. Liked it a lot to represent this scent. I had a patchouli plant, and Patchouli Heart is true to its name. IMO it's more patchouli 'base', with softened patchouli top notes.
There's patchouli and then there's this. Was extremely pleased with the effects of this in comparison to some other patchouli oils. My only regret is that I did not purchase a larger quantity.
I have tried various grades of Indonesian patchouli, but Patchouli Heart MD PA50 is by far the best. Initially, it emits a radiant fragrance, reminiscent of the light breaking through rain clouds after a shower. This scent is pure, devoid of any earthy or musty odors. The dry-down settles into a silky, mellow aroma. This patchouli stands perfectly on its own. I blend it with Fleur D'Heliotrope to ground myself after work. If you seek the ultimate bliss, you must try this patchouli!
Agree with the other comment, this is indeed THE BEST Patchouli for a clean dry down. Make a huge difference in my Coromandel reconstruction
