    Very Violet™ can be used in combination with other colours in the Perfumer's Palette™ range or alone to reduce yellow tones caused by the use of naturals, or to add a purple touch.

    The Fraterworks® Perfumer's Palette™ is a range of dyes that can be used alone or in combination with each other to add vibrance and colour to your perfumes or cosmetic products. Our proprietary blend of FD&C and D&C colours are sold in liquid form.

    Perfumer's Palette colours contain distilled water which is perfectly safe for alcoholic perfumes in the quantities needed for colouration. Typical use is from 0.01–0.5% of finished product.

    At these low levels, staining of clothing or skin is minimal to none but you should always test your finished product against white cloth or paper.

    General Information

    Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.

    All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
