Vetiveryl Acetate (and related Vetiver Acetate) is one of the most popular zizanoides products which is frequently blended with fine vetiver oils for a softening effect or used on its own as a fresh, long lasting and clean vetiver note.

There are two types of the acetate: Vetiver Acetate and Vetiveryl Acetate. The first is produced from Vetiverol (a mix of vetiver alcohols) which is extracted from the Vetiver roots prior to the acetylation process. The second, Vetiveryl acetate (this product) is produced by direct acetylation of the whole Vetiver essential oil and contains accessory molecules so it has a slightly less restrictive IFRA limit and a more complex and slightly more metallic dry down. It is also lower in price.

While Vetiver Acetate (acetylated Vetiverol) is more popular due to being cleaner in the dry down, this wonderful Vetiveryl Acetate 20326 should not be overlooked. It blends particularly well with Orris materials and can be used anywhere Vetiver Acetate is used.

We also stock Vetiver Acetate from V Mane Fils.

Used in: Chanel No 19, Poison, Ma Griffe and Dior Homme.

Warning: This is a raw material for the manufacture of perfumes. Do not consume. Do not apply directly to skin. Keep out of reach of children.

Fraterworks® is strictly a reseller of this product and is neither an agent nor official distributor for Mane.

    General Information

Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.

All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.

    IFRA Standards

    Permitted amounts in finished product:

    IFRA 51: 0.909%
    IFRA 49: 0.909%

These are derived from calculated concentrations which do not replace chromatographic quantification on individual lots. Disclaimer...

    For Trade Use Only

Our products are intended as building blocks in the perfume creation process; they are not to be applied to the skin undiluted.

These raw materials are for use by the perfumery trade only.
