Vetiveryl Acetate (Acetivenol) is one of the most popular vetiver products where it is frequently blended with fine vetiver oil to extend and sweeten or on its own as a fresh, long lasting and modern vetiver note.

Our vetiveryl acetate has more richness and presence than most and is the star of Frater Perfumes' best selling Vetiver fragrance.

Blend it with Guerlain's favourite Vetiver Bourbon oil and the esteemed natural Vetiverol ex Vetiver Haiti as used in No 5 by Ernest Beaux for Chanel. Or blend it in a one to one ratio with Mysore sandalwood oil like Bois Des Îles (140 grams of each in the original formula).

    Natural or Not?

The non-natural process of manufacturing vetiveryl acetate means it is never an entirely natural product. Even when labelled as natural or isolated from a natural starting materials such as Vetiver Haiti, it is not.

    Appearance: Thick golden liquid
    Longevity: Lasts > 360 hours

    General Information

Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.

All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
