Centaurée jacée (centaurea jacea) is a French meadow flower that has vanished from the perfumers palette in the 21st century. Once a beloved member of the esteemed violet / iris family it so inspired François Coty that in 1905 he released a fragrance named La Jacée based entirely on its delicate scent!
Blending beautifully with hawthorn, iris, violet, mimosa and cassie this really is a wonderful flower that should have a comeback.
As with all our classical restorations, Jacée Extra is enriched with large doses of the finest floral absolutes and oils. A mere trace adds complexity and luxury while an overdose can form the heart of an innovative perfume. What was old is new again.
