Fraterworks® Mimosa de Provence (formerly just Mimosa) is a beautiful recreation of wild harvested French mimosa smelling intensely of honeyed woods with fatty and violet nuances and an anisic drydown. Mimosa de Provence is an updated reconstruction of the classic base of the same name from Th. Mühlethaler S.A., the great Swiss early 20th century manufacturer of bases and fragrances.
Mimosa de Provence is a sweet and refined note which can be used in large doses for an eccentric twist or in touches as a fixative and nuancer. This base is enriched with precious essential oils and rare absolutes.
Classification: Mimosa (Acacia dealbata also sometimes called Acacia deccurens) should not be confused with Cassie (Acacia farnesiana) or the entirely unrelated Pink Acacia (Robinia pseudoacacia), all of which are items of interest to perfumers and, consquently, for sale here.
