    A complex Lily base enriched with luxury floral absolutes, Lys de France is an entire bouquet of flowers at its peak of blossoming. Lys de France has a room filling diffusion and a wonderful naturalness.

    Traces add floral richesse and shimmer to a fragrance while an overdose can be used to replace muguet or generic white florals in a scent. 

    Lys de France is, like the lily flower itself, indolic, cresylic and powerful. It is constructed using only the finest aromachemicals and naturals. 

    This is a perfect base to use as a starting point for fragrances like Nasomatto's Narcotic Venus, Lys Mediterranee by Frederic Malle, Passage d'Enfer by L'Artisan Parfumeur, and Un Jardin Sur La Lagune by Hermès.

    General Information

    Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.

    All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.

    Addendum: Goes White Lily After An Hour

    It's not your garden variety white lily off the bat, but changes to a generic white lily after an hour or so. 36 hours in and the whole second floor is scented from just one blotter...

    This will fill a room. It's not very traditional lily but could pass if needed and is one of the best white florals out there. Buy the next size up from what you think you want, otherwise you will go back (like I am doing...). It is one of Frater's bases that is a 'perfume' out of the bottle...
