From the great Muguet des Bois by Henri Robert to the masterpiece of Coroliane crafted by Edmond Roudnitska, we have your muguet needs covered... with one exception. That exception is Muguet de Grasse, this is the muguet beloved by Ernest Beaux who trained and worked at Chiris both before and after the revolution forced the company to relocate from Russia to France. Chiris had purchased the great Russian fragrance company Rallet the year Beaux started work there and it was during this employment that he created Bouquet de Catherine (Rallet le No 1) which later became Chanel No 5.
As simple as simplicity itself, Muguet de Grasse is a diaphanous effusion of floralcy created with only the essential early muguet aroma chemicals and a delicate touch of natural absolutes. The very high concentration of hydroxycitronellal (then a revolutionary molecule) makes this a perfect muguet to use in place of that chemical for more character or as an accent in a lily of the valley fond.
Muguet de Grasse is perhaps the most versatile of all our muguet bases, and most definitely one that suits a modern fragrance as much as it did the great classics of the early 20th century.
For a dazzling and novel modern accord, try a blend of Muguet de Grasse with Mimosal™ and the merest trace of cumin seed oil and Cassis Base 345B.

General Information
General Information
Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
