Oudamide is a speciality product from Tadimety (sold as Oudhbois). It is a woody aroma chemical with nuances of grapefruit (nootkatone type) and oud and a whisper of animal. It blends beautifully with other woody materials such as Cedrol crystals, Aetoxylon Oil, Orbitone® and Iso E Super™. Use it to make a dark fantasy base of gnarled wood or as an alternative to the common woods that are overdosed in most modern fragrances.
This product is found in a few significant fragrances such as Marc-Antoine Barrois's 2019 Ganymede (formula below) and Tom Ford's Santal Blush and Plum Japonais, however widespread adoption is still yet to occur. Be the first!

General Information
Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
