Peony (known as pivoine in French) is one of the most beautiful flowers to behold, from bud to blossom. The delicate odour is reminiscent of roses (indeed most classic peony bases rely on many of the same aroma chemicals) with the key difference being a lightly waxed quality and a faintly almond-like persistence to the peony blossom.
As with all our luxurious classical perfumery bases, Peony Storm is loaded with opulent and expensive essential oils and absolutes giving it a truly marvellous natural quality.
Peony flowers don't give up a natural essential oil, but with a base as rich and appealing as Peony Storm, it simply doesn't matter.

You get the classic, vintage vibe right off the bat, as a fantasy note Jamie nailed it, with fantasy note it relies mostly on aroma chemicals and it tends to smell "industrial", but this doesn't. It's like you are smelling peony flowers in a courtyard with bunch pf servants running around centuries ago.
