Dihydromyrcenyl Acetate opens with a juicy bergamot character softened by lavender undertones. Where its parent alcohol Dihydromyrcenol can feel sharp and metallic, the acetate ester reads sweeter, rounder, and more elegant. You get that same citrus-cologne sparkle but wrapped in a velvety fruitiness that feels more refined and versatile.
This material bridges the gap between aggressive top notes and the floral heart of your composition. Its tertiary ester structure gives it remarkable stability in alkaline environments where natural citrus oils and standard esters like Linalyl Acetate rapidly degrade. Reach for it when you need lasting citrus freshness in soaps, detergents, and household products where other citruses fail miserably.
Blend it alongside Dihydromyrcenol to temper the alcohol's harshness while extending its citrus-lavender signature. It pairs beautifully with Linalyl Acetate for synthetic bergamot accords and with Allyl Amyl Glycolate for modern aromatic-fruity effects. Use it in lime fragrances to support and extend fleeting citrus top notes into the heart.

Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
