Methyl Pamplemousse is the classic grapefruit chemical, widely used and widely adored. It suits both feminine and masculine scents and can be used in small amounts as a nuancer for citrus or in overdose for an interesting top note character.
Blends with Dihydromyrcenol and Cassis Base 345B are outstanding.
Methyl Pamplemousse is found in so many superstar fragrances they are too numerous to name, but a few that stand out are 0.45% in Gabrielle (Chanel, 2017), 1% in Bleu (Chanel, 2010), 1.4% in Terre d'Hermès (2006), 0.8% Grand Soir (2016, Maison Francis Kurkdjian), 2% in Vetiver (Frater, 2022), 2.2% in Spicebomb (2012, Viktor&Rolf), 0.65% in Opus XIV Royal Tobacco by Amouage (2022), and Creed's Royal Oud (2011) dosed at 0.17%.

General Information
General Information
Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
