Neomagnolan opens with a sheer, luminous flash of white flowers—magnolia and peony wrapped in a tart pomelo-citrus brightness that feels immediately modern. Beneath the sparkle, green tea-leaf and water-lily facets add a cool, transparent airiness. The effect is floral without weight, like light passing through petals.
What a curious character this material is! Neomagnolan is like the big brother of classic Magnolan. Every time you smell it you discover a new nuance: indole, pomelo, orange blossom, moth balls, magnolia, rhubarb, vetiver, and on and on. Despite that, it remains a great floraliser for masculines that won't take your perfume in a feminine direction. But, dress it up right, and it will glow in the heart of a well-blended ladies' bouquet type scent.
Use it to add a touch of freshness to an otherwise dense or cloying floral. Build a cologne to exploit its hot iron and citrus nuances. The possibilities are endless.
Neogmagnolan is a solid at room temperature and requires quite a lot of heat to melt. For that reason we offer it at 50% dilution in DPG. At slightlyh lower temperatures, even in dilution, Neomagnolan may separate and require warming.
Neomagnolan vs Magnolan
Both share the same parent molecule but Neomagnolan is an enriched fraction containing the isomer with superior olfactory qualities. Original Magnolan is a mixture of diastereoisomers that delivers a broader, denser floral-green character with pronounced grapefruit-lychee facets and an indolic depth that reads as heavier and more complex.
Neomagnolan strips away that density: it is brighter, more transparent, and more purely floral-citrus with pomelo replacing grapefruit and tea-leaf airiness replacing a lot of the indolic weight. Think of Magnolan as the full orchestral version and Neomagnolan as the same melody played on a glass harmonica—clearer, lighter, more luminous.
Choose Magnolan when you want rich, complex white florals with fruity depth; choose Neomagnolan when you want sheer, modern transparency.

Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
