Rhumacetal delivers that unmistakable boozy rum character—refined alcohol warmth without harsh solvent notes. The tobacco facet emerges alongside, adding a dry, slightly smoky complexity. Woody undertones ground the composition, evoking aged oak barrels and fine spirits.
This acetal serves as a cornerstone material for building convincing rum accords in perfumery. Combine Rhumacetal with MANE's incredible Rum Jungle Essence, rum ether, vanillin, oakwood materials, and Peru balsam for dark rum effects. It pairs beautifully with woods like cedar and sandalwood, and enriches gourmand notes of vanilla, chocolate, and caramel. The material can seem underwhelming against very powerful notes, so balance carefully.

Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
