Soft and woody with a soft purr of floralcy, Rose Maréchal Niel was a much appreciated early 20th century base mimicking the scent of the beloved rose of the same name that appeared a century earlier.
Forming part of the complex and sweet floral heart of Arpège, this rose base has all but dissapeared in the 21st century. If you are looking for a rose with that special je ne sais quoi, look no further.
Rose Maréchal Niel is loaded with rich and costly floral and wood oils and absolutes making it an expensive base to produce, however it is effective in traces and makes for a wonderful addition to a general floral bouquet.

General Information
Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
