Ultravanil is a big comfy bowl of warm custard. In addition to its bold vanilla qualities, this material has a discreet caramel edge and a clear phenolic depth with woody and spicy undertones.
Four hundred hours on blotter makes this one of the most tenacious vanilla materials available. Use it to boost vanillin and ethyl vanillin in any composition — even traces add remarkable depth and longevity to vanilla accords. The phenolic backbone gives it staying power that lighter vanilla notes simply lack.
Pair with vanillin and ethyl vanillin as a booster, or use alongside benzoin and labdanum for dark oriental richness. The smoky-spiced warmth strengthens gourmand and tobacco compositions beautifully. Sold pure and diluted in DPG — dose in traces and build upward, as the potency is exceptional.
It is worth noting that Givaudan sells this "pure" as an 80% concentrate, with the other 20% being DPG. We offer it further diluted to 10% (a total of 8% actual ultravanil) for price and strength reasons.

Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
