    A delicate liquid amber base first created by Roure in the 1930s and used in Tabu. This is a light and airy amber based on labdanum and vanilla notes without the characteristic dominance of citrus making it a wonderful fixative and enricher of those more common ambers such as Ambreine Samuelson and Opoponax Doux.

    The sheer nature of this amber makes it decidedly modern and it can most certainly be used easily in that context. Pair with Ambre Royale in overdose with sweet notes of ethyl hydrocinnamate, phenyl propyl alcohol and ethyl safranate.

    General Information

    Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.

    All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
