Biomuguet delivers a muguet character unlike the classical aldehydes. This is abstract, luminous, faintly metallic — more ozonic radiance than sweet lily. A creamy floral body sits underneath the aldehydic lift, with subtle citrus and green facets that give it a distinctly modern feel.
Takasago produces this from sugarcane-derived farnesene, making it bio-based though not classified as natural. With Lilial and Lyral banned in Europe, Biomuguet offers an unrestricted muguet building block for compositions that need floral luminosity. It softens harsh green and citrus notes while adding shape, rhythm, and diffusive volume.
Pair Biomuguet with Biocyclamol (it's related alcohol) for the complete muguet experience — the aldehyde provides top-note radiance while the alcohol extends into the drydown. It also works beautifully with Hedione in jasmine-muguet accords. Strong at the top but moderate longevity on its own.

Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
