Walking a tightrope between the scent of linalool and coriander, Coranol is a wonderful floral fresh heart note that is practically indispensable in modern perfumes. Traces added freshness, overdoses add a much loved modern character. Coranol is the warm blow of tropical holiday air. On first sniff it is obvious why this is such a beloved aroma chemical.
In the words of Arcadi Boix Camps: “[Coranol is o]ne of the most important chemicals used today. Coranol has an extremely fresh, floral, somewhat vibrant rosy-metallic note that is really almost impossible to replace. It combines exceptionally well with Dihydromyrcenol … imparting to every fragrance its freshness, its strength and its diffusion. It blends exceptionally well with citrus, florals, woody, spicy and musky notes and harmonises with green-metalic products such as Stemone, Paradisamide, Labienoxime or Buccoxime.”
Coranol is found in Aventus at around 2%, 3.5% in 1 Million Elixir, 3.5% in 212 Men Aqua by Carolina Herrera, 2% in Aqua di Gio Profondo, 2.7% in Aqua Pour Homme by Bulgari, and a whopping 6.5% in Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana.

General Information
Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
