    Liffarome is a kinder and gentler member of the Cis 3 Hexenol family with a lovely soft nuance of apples and pears in addition to the expected classic scent of cut lawns, violet leaves and foliage. It also has a hint of nasturtium and red radish. Despite being easier to use than many materials in the green family, it is still a very powerful molecule that shines when blended with others.

    Liffarome is found at 0.1% in Light Blue of Dolce and Gabbana in synergy with 0.065% Triplal, 0.1% in Carolina Herrera's 212 VIP Pour Homme, Lipstick Rose by Frederick Malle and Dior's Sauvage Elixir, 0.12% in Armani's My Way, 0.4% in YSL's Libre and many many more.

    Liffarome blends well with Triplal, Helional, Cyclamen Aldehyde, Amazonia™, Verdantol, Daphne Supreme, Veticoeur, Vetimoss and Artemal™.

    General Information

    Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.

    All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.

    Into the green...

    I'm working on a few green compositions this month and thought I'd pick up a sample of Liffarome to play with. It has lovely grassy pear facets with something just a little more deep than just hexenyl acetate. Recommended.
