    A classical cedar base with delicate nuances of violet and leather, Veticoeur™ is a wonderful canvas type material that can be used up to a whopping 5% of your finished product. Veticoeur™ was used in No 19 by Chanel and numerous other great fragrances of the 20th century (see our demonstration formulas below).

    Veticoeur™ is a perfect starting point for a modern woody fragrance that can be twisted in many different directions, from dry and green with Galbanum oil, to gourmand with Ethyl Maltol.

    It suits feminine and masculine scents and blends extraordinarily well with Miraclewood™, Vetiveryl Acetate, Aetoxylon Oil, Orrisodore and Cedarome.

    General Information

    Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.

    All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.

    IFRA 51: 5%
    IFRA 49: 5%

    I had been looking for a replacement for vetyrisia for ages as it's quite hard to come by, especially in larger quantities. Veticoeur definitely has more cedar virginia nuances compared to vetyrisia which is more vertofix/ionones - those elements are still present in veticoeur but the pronounced cedar helps it to be more radiant and make the blend fuller - thanks for making this available Jamie

      All of our products are compliant with EU 1223/2009 and the NZCPGS. None of our bases contain prohibited materials and regulatory compliance is possible depending on usage.
