Cedarome is a rich and mysterious woody base loaded with vetiver, Mysore sandalwood, rose, cedar and more. It has a very long heritage, being first used in L'Origan in 1905.
This magnificent piece of perfume history can be used as a complete fragrance, or in small amounts as you would use sandalwood or cedarwood in a luscious dry down accord. Absolutely IFRA compatible up to an enorrmous 16.7% of the finished product.
NOTE: Cedarome may crystallise at low temperatures. Warm gentley if necessary.
* Cedarome by Firmenich (formerly CNC) and Sophira (AKA Sophora by Roure) were very similar bases, with Sophira being an artistic copy made by the great Marius Reboul.

General Information
Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.

Nitro Musks
Some of our products may contain small amounts of EU and IFRA compliant musk ketone. We never use musk xylene, musk ambrette or any other prohibited materials.
