LOTUS STORM® is an exquisite base created by Master Perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour, exclusively for Fraterworks. Inspired by the iconic Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea)—the sacred flower treasured by ancient Egypt—this innovative composition captures the flower’s rich floral elegance, captivating fruity nuances, and alluring earthy warmth and layers it with a diaphanous jasmine note and galbanum. Traditionally associated with ritual, trance, and twilight, Blue Lotus takes on a new dimension in The Night Garden: a sacred bloom that seems to awaken only when the world is quiet.
Scent Profile
LOTUS STORM® opens with the aroma of a serene, shadowed pond. Dew-kissed foliage entwines with the earthy depth of galbanum and warm whispers of beeswax, brightened by delicate fruity nuances. At its heart unfolds an entrancing bouquet, as the mystical fragrance of blue lotus flowers rises gracefully amid an abundant cascade of night-scented jasmine. Soft, creamy white florals lend a velvety finish. With the first light of dawn, the fragrance gently recedes, leaving behind a subtly spiced, musky echo of the Night Garden.

Background
Fraterworks identified a unique opportunity in the fragrance market—the absence of an accessible yet authentically crafted Blue Lotus base. Partnering with celebrated perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour, renowned for iconic fragrances such as Amouage Jubilation XXV, Timbuktu by L'Artisan Parfumeur, and Comme des Garçons Series 3 Incense: Avignon, LOTUS STORM® was meticulously developed and introduced directly to the public, marking a pioneering achievement unequalled by other fragrance houses.

General Information
Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.

Nitro Musks
Some of our products may contain small amounts of EU and IFRA compliant musk ketone. We never use musk xylene, musk ambrette or any other prohibited materials.
