Peonile opens with an unmistakable burst of fresh geranium-rose lifted by zesty grapefruit nuances. This powerful nitrile delivers the rare combination of heart note character with base note tenacity. The distinctive metallic clarity that defines nitriles adds modern brightness, preventing the floralcy from feeling dated or heavy.
You'll find Peonile invaluable for creating harmony in complex floral accords where other materials clash. Use it at 1-10% to smooth aggressive florals into seamless bouquets while adding exceptional volume and fixation. Its legendary stability across pH 2-11 and five-star substantivity on both wet and dry fabric makes it irreplaceable in functional fragrances.
The material's linear performance means its rosy-citrus character persists unchanged through a month-long drydown. Combine with Javanol at 80:20 for the famous "rich sandalwood" synergy. Build modern fougères around its stable geranium core, or use its grapefruit facet to extend volatile citrus compositions.
Despite its name, Peonile is not particularly peony like.

Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
