    Permawood™ is a high performance wood base which is effective from traces but is perfectly suitable for uses up to five percent. It is a top to bottom blend which adds body and strength to the heart of a scent, a luxurious ambery dry down, and a softening and rounding polish to top notes.

    Permawood™ is composed of extremely modern aroma molcules with a very delicate odour which belies its astonishing power. Permawood™ is all about radiance, rounding and fixing. This is a base which will improve any fragrance to which it is added.

    Permawood™ can be used as a one-for-one replacer for Fixobois® which has undergone reformulation in recent times.

    Permawood™ is the perfect fixative for Lorysia®, and Iso E Super™, and has a synergy with Miraclewood™, Thujopsene, Ambrexol™, Ambergris, Saxon Moss, Suralette™ Extra, Verdantol™ and woody, herbal or green notes in general.

    General Information

    Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.

    All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
