Synonyms: Phenylethyl Phenyl Acetate Classification: Base Note[i]
Phenyl Ethyl Phenyl Acetate (PEPA) is a rich honeyed aroma chemical with a light sprinkling of tea rose, apricots, hyacinth and cinnamon. It has great potential as a core blender in a modern carnation base but historically finds use in Lilac, Rose and miel accords.
Phenyl Ethyl Phenyl Acetate is usually found in small amounts as a nuancer but it is not unheard of for it to be used in a semi-overdosed state for special cases (particularly honey bases).
Phenyl Ethyl Phenyl Acetate blends with Rose materials, Vanillin, Eugenol, and Dianthine Extra.
We are also offering this as a 40% solution with DPG.

General Information
General Information
Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
