    Tobacarol is a standout material for introducing the warm, velvety richness of a tobacco to a scent. Its inviting profile carries a complex interplay of smoky, woody, and ambery tones, subtly sweetened with faint leathery facets. With exceptional tenacity and diffusion, this material is a natural choice for masculine blends, oriental creations, or sophisticated chypres. It also provides a unique warmth to gourmand compositions and floral bouquets, acting as a harmonious base note anchor.

    Tobacarol combines beautifully with smoky materials like Birch Tar and Oakwood CO2, sweet and resinous notes such as Benzoin and Tonka Bean, and warm woods like Sandalwood and Cedarwood.

    Enhancing Versatility: Layer with lighter top notes such as Bergamot or Green Mandarin for contrast or blend with creamy elements like our wonderful Vanillin “Signature” for softer, gourmand effects.

    A little goes a long way due to its strength; recommended usage levels are best kept below 1%.

    Tobacarol appears in Creed's Tabarome Millesime (2000), Parfums de Marly's Herod (2012), and Aramis's Havana (1994).

    General Information

    Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.

    All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
