Aldehyde C-11 Intreleven opens with powerful clean aldehydic character—green, rosy, and immediately evocative of fresh linen and quality soap. This material delivers a fresher, more complex profile than simple Aldehyde C-11 Undecylenic. The 400-hour substantivity on blotter translates to exceptional longevity in finished products, and the excellent stability in body lotions, shampoos, and all-purpose cleaners makes it valuable across categories. The fresh linen aspect has made it particularly popular in fabric care applications where clean, aldehydic character defines the category.

Aldehyde C-11 Intreleven vs Aldehyde C-11 Undecylenic
These two C-11 aldehydes share the same carbon chain length but differ significantly in character. Aldehyde C-11 Undecylenic is waxy, fatty, and distinctly rosy-citrus with a soapy quality; one of the three aldehydes Beaux used in Chanel No. 5. Intreleven is several times stronger than Undecylenic, with a fresher, cleaner, more complex profile.
Where Undecylenic leans fatty and waxy, Intreleven emphasises ozonic freshness and green-linen character. Use Undecylenic for classic aldehydic florals seeking that vintage Chanel sparkle; reach for Intreleven when you want modern fresh-linen power with superior diffusion. Both offer exceptional tenacity, but Intreleven's cleaner profile makes it more versatile in contemporary functional fragrances.

Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
