Apritone is ripe, fleshy apricot — warm, sweet, and disarmingly realistic. But it's far more than simple fruit: peach and jasmine undertones layer underneath, with a subtle rose ketone-like facet and ambrette creaminess adding unexpected complexity. Exceptionally tenacious on the strip.
Use Apritone wherever you need apricot that persists deep into the dry-down — most fruit esters vanish quickly, but this terpenoid ketone stays. It anchors peach and jasmine accords with real tenacity. Try it in woody compositions where its fruity warmth adds a supple, rounded quality you wouldn't expect.
Combine Apritone with gamma-undecalactone and damascones to build full-bodied stone fruit accords. Prunolide strengthens the apricot realism. Layer it with sweet musks for a skin-scent effect where the fruit feels intimate and worn-in rather than bright and projecting — this is not a top note material.

Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
