Constanin Wereguine (1899–1982) was a master perfumer who was assistant and second perfumer to Ernest Beaux at both Chanel and Bourjois and Henri Robert at the Former. A Russian aristocrat educated in Yalta, Wereguin eventually went on to work at Rhône-Poulenc.
Muguet Weriguine is the personal creation of this great perfumer and was used in place of other classic muguet bases that were fading from use in the 1970s and 1980s, notably Muguet 16 and Ernest Beaux's own Muguet de Grasse.
Weriguine cleverly enriched his muguet with natural citrus (including a rather large dose of neroli oil) which gives it a lovely unique character that blends exceedingly well with the likes of Bouvardia De Laire, Floranol, Fleur D'Oranger and Jasmine 1109 which has its own orange blossom nuance.
Appearance: Colourless to pale yellow liquid
Longevity: Lasts > 240 hours on a smelling strip
General Information
General Information
Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
