Passing this chemical around the laboratory amongst the staff who had never smelled it resulted in uniform cries of "pee!". For one it is rabbit pee, for another it is the scent of sheep in the field (we are in New Zealand after all) and for a third "horse pee on flowers!"
Para Cresyl Phenyl Acetate is the most floral of the para cresol esters and it is virtually indispensable when constructing a narcissus accord. It forms the fundamental animalic note in the famed Animalis base (our Animalia™ CMP) and is in countless elegant scents from history where a careful balance with other materials accentuates the florals and links the bestial facet to the natural animalics.
Para Cresyl Phenyl Acetate is a powder but it dissolves easily when blended pure into the remaining ingredients of your formula. However, should you wish to dissolve it for ease of use (both due to the physical form and the power of the odour) we have saved you the trouble and are offering it also at 10% in DPG.

Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.

Nitro Musks
Some of our products may contain small amounts of EU and IFRA compliant musk ketone. We never use musk xylene, musk ambrette or any other prohibited materials.
