    V. MANE Fils is one of our favourite suppliers of naturals, but they are also (like Fraterworks) makers of some truly wonderful bases. Pineapple Natpop™ is one. In MANE's own words, Natpops are 100% "olfactory reconstitutions of fresh fruit notes."

Pineapple Natpop™ is a marvel. Unlike our highly popular top note Pineapple Supreme base, Pineapple Natpop™ is a top to bottom blend which is not just pineapple, but tropical fruit, sweetness and wonderful richness. This base is absolutely essential for all perfumers. When you smell it you won't know how you lived without it. We have never been more passionate about a natural fruit base and honesty this surpasses many times over the more well-known Robertet natural fruit accords.

Use Pineapple Natpop™ in a large amount for a rich pineapple note that lasts the life of your scent, or use traces to sweeten and add a fruity je ne sais quoi.

Fraterworks® is strictly a reseller of this product and is neither an agent nor official distributor for Mane.

    General Information

Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.

All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.

    IFRA Standards

    Permitted amounts in finished product:

    IFRA 51: Coming Soon
    IFRA 49: Coming Soon

These are derived from calculated concentrations which do not replace chromatographic quantification on individual lots. Disclaimer...

    For Trade Use Only

Our products are intended as building blocks in the perfume creation process; they are not to be applied to the skin undiluted.

These raw materials are for use by the perfumery trade only.

    juicy and tropical

A luscious, tropical burst of ripe pineapple greets you with its juicy, sweet, and slightly tiare aroma. The scent is bright and vibrant, evoking the sun-soaked warmth of a Hawaiian vacation. The rich fruity sweetness is balanced by refreshing, citrusy/ mandarine undertones. It has a playful yet sophisticated complexity that makes it both uplifting and indulgent.
Imagine slicing into a perfectly ripe pineapple, the golden-yellow flesh glistening with juice, its tangy-sweet fragrance filling the air, while wearing a lei of plumeria.
    Its cheerful and invigorating, tropical.

    A "musky" juicy tropical fruit

"Musky" in the sense of how some tropical fruit scents that are not overly sparkling and more dense are described (like musk melon), not that it smells like real musks to me. Think of Jackfruit vs. pineapple. As someone grown among pineapple fields this may not be my choice for a single 3D pineapple accord if I want to be a purist, but I think it will be very useful to add interesting tropical fruit notes. Its floral juicyfruit gum notes makes me think this would be very good in realistic champaca flower reconstitutions. In fact, it reminds me a lot the smell of banana flowers (Michelia figo) and other members of the genus Michelia like alba and champaca of course, now placed in genus Magnolia by taxonomists. I think it would be great as a building block to other exotic tropical fruit reconstitutions like Jackfruit, Monstera, Zapote etc...and of course to build further a more sparkling realistic pineapple note.
