Foin Rigaud was one of the earliest types of foin (new mown hay) base. It was, in reality, an embellished form of coumarin - born from the practice by which powerful new molecules were made available to perfumers as the lead character in accords and bases.
Despite being used in a relatively small amount, Foin Rigaud played a vital role in Coty's L'Origan. An update to our earlier formula can found below.
Foin Rigaud is presented here in its original powder form. This product is very intense and powerful. If you prefer a more classic top to bottom fantasy hay base we recommend Foin Coupé which comes in liquid form.
Appearance: White crystalline powder

General Information
General Information
Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
