In Givaudan's own words: “Herbanate has a fruity note with hints of banana, pineapple and blackcurrant. The background is fresh and herbal with a warm spicy element. Herbanate is a versatile material that provides or enhances the natural effect of fragrances, particularly in fruity notes where it gives a juicy tropical fruit effect. It can also be used as a 10% dilution to give a green herbal freshness and blends well with citrus, green and even spicy notes.”
Herbanate blends extremely well with agrestical materials such as Clary Sage, Lavender Absolute and Lavender Oil. It offers excellent diffusion in combination with the rose ketones and blends surprisingly well undecavertol and methyl heptine carbonate. Try it with our Daphne base for a very modern and unique mix.

General Information
General Information
Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
