    Roman chamomile (also known as English Chamomile) possesses a distinct aroma that is sweet, fruity, and herbaceous. It is characterised by its warm, floral aroma with subtle hints of apple and honey. The fragrance is often considered soft and comforting, with gentle notes that evoke a sense of relaxation and tranquility.

    Use this wonderful oil as a middle note or a supporting ingredient in floral, herbal, or aromatic fragrances where it adds a touch of warmth and complexity.

    The difference between German and Roman chamomile plants is that German chamomile flowers grow in clusters, while Roman chamomile flowers grow singularly atop a hairy stem.

    Roman Chamomile Oil presents a powerfully diffusive, sweet, and warmly herbaceous aroma with distinctive green apple and pear-like fruitiness, complemented by gentle tea-like nuances and subtle honey-coumarin undertones.

    Uses

    Middle note for floral hearts, calming aromatherapy blends, tea accords, and natural sweetening in herbal compositions.

    General Information

    Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.

    All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.

      Note: Wherever you are a professional perfumer or a hobbyist, we have what you need — from essential oils and absolutes, to bases, perfume chemicals (synthetics), bottles and more.
